Our skilled Technicians, Mechanics, Fabricators and Engineers work together every step of the way to design, build and run elite competition cars on the track and off-road across the globe. We are looking for a Bodyshell Fabricator to join our talented Fabrication team in the Bodyshop. In this role you will be expected to produce components for various motorsport activities, including roll cages, car body repairs, modifications and restorations.

Truckie / HGV Garage Technician (Rally - JLR)

LOCATION:

Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

To commence JLR’s FIA World Rally Raid Championship programme with the iconic Defender brand, we are looking for a Truckie / HGV Garage Technician to provide logistics support for the World Rally Raid team. You will ensure all equipment and cars are delivered to venues around the world, whether by truck or air/sea freight and will be responsible for the wheels and tyres for cars on events, and the upkeep and maintenance of equipment and service area. Travel is a key part of this role, and can be up to 3-4 weeks per event. You will be required to work at the factory between events preparing the vehicles and equipment. Having won two of the last three Rally Raid events, including their debut in Morocco, the Dacia Sandrider team have an exciting opportunity for a Truckie / HGV Garage Technician to join them in their quest to win the World Rally Raid Championship in the FIA Ultimate T1+ category. We have an exciting opportunity for a Rally Engineer to join the Rally Raid team, ensuring that the engineering of the team’s event cars is consistent with best practices, as agreed with the Chief Rally Engineer, and consistent with achieving the team’s individual event and overall technical targets with regards to performance & reliability. This role requires international travel to test and rally events within the World Rally Raid Championship.
