We specialise in active aero systems, intelligent interiors and niche vehicles across automotive, aerospace, defence and marine sectors. We are seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to support with vehicle build, testing and integration. This is an excellent opportunity for a Technician with a strong testing background looking to step up to the next challenge.

Key responsibilities.

  • Build, strip and rework development and prototype vehicles to engineering specifications.
  • Prepare vehicles for durability, functional, and regulatory testing.
  • Support pre-production builds and provide feedback to Engineering teams.
  • Ensure any vehicle build accurately reflects the relevant build spec and setup sheets and maintain accurate build records.
  • Work closely with the Engineering to keep up to date with current technical developments.
  • Support Vehicle Testing in both the UK and Overseas.
  • Assemble parts and components at both subassembly level and on vehicle.
  • Operate machinery and equipment in the assembly process, ensuring efficient workflow, and raising any issues during operation.
  • Perform end of line testing on assembled parts and full vehicle systems.
  • Work to drawings, process and procedures.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members and stake holders to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and support the business in achieving testing milestones and build events. Ability to work overtime when required.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician, with a level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent experience. You will have a good understanding of modern OEM vehicle principles, from chassis, suspension, driveline, electrics, HVAC, air suspension, light fabrication and interiors through to vehicle diagnostics, and associated equipment operation. Confident dealing with all aspects of vehicle build and integration for our prestigious customers, you will have strong attention to detail in identifying defects and be able to work calmly under pressure. IMI, OEM, or specialist manufacturer training would be advantageous.
