Key responsibilities:

The person will be part of a small team responsible for analysing data and developing future strategies for the development on the World Endurance Championship and other Prodrive programmes as required.

The person will be expected to take responsibility for the data systems and will also need to work with the minimum of supervision.  Part of the role will involve direct contact with drivers, senior business managers and customers, and it is therefore important that the person is able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities shall include;

  • Maintain and develop a good standard of the cars’ electronics systems.
  • Work closely with Race Engineers to develop performance analysis tools.
  • Vehicle simulation and analysis.
  • Specifying and/or writing relevant software.
  • Specification and selection of electrical components including ECU’s, Data Loggers, sensors and connectors.
  • Testing and evaluation of electronic systems.
  • Validation of data.
  • Commissioning and fault finding of vehicle electrical systems.
