Prodrive Advanced Technology design, develop and produce solutions that enhance our client’s projects and solve their technical challenges. We specialise in active aero systems, intelligent interiors and niche vehicles across automotive, aerospace, defence and marine sectors. Our capabilities span across a wide range of functions including system integration, design engineering, electronics and electrical systems, and chassis engineering.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support the delivery of a new programme, responsible for the planning and execution of quality assurance activities within operations and the supply chain.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support new programme/project introduction phase with PPAP creation to AIAG and customer standards.
  • Respond to concerns and non-conformities effectively, employing root cause analysis tools to thoroughly assess the concern. Ensure appropriate containment is conducted and robust corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Create and submit IMDS as required.
  • Contribute to supplier approval through occasional site assessments and audits.
  • PPAP approve supplied parts and IMDS for series production.
  • Oversee concern resolution.
  • Conduct internal audits to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
  • Create and maintain procedures and documents as required to support our accreditations.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a Quality role with a recognised technical engineering qualification. You will a be trained auditor to ISO 9001:2015 standard (and ISO 14001:2015 desirable), with demonstrable experience of APQP, PPAP and IMDS, and strong root cause analysis skills. You will have a working knowledge of metrology techniques and an understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing. Experience within the manufacture of complex 5-axis machined components is desirable.
