We are looking for an experienced Workshop Administrator who will be a fundamental aid in the efficient running of a busy Machine Shop, whilst also maintaining a variety of records in our online system IFS.

You will be responsible for:

  • Process incoming customer orders (check any PO’s not sent, any stopped CO’s)
  • Close completed orders (check final price with Prod. Eng.)
  • Create inventory parts / product structures / routings for manufacturing parts
  • Create inventory parts for material parts
  • Follow up material orders & deliveries
  • Reserve material and release orders once it has been received & booked
  • Issue material to orders that have started
  • Raise purchase reqs when needed (for consumables, tools, outside ops)

Who we are looking for…

Our ideal candidate will have worked within Engineering, Manufacturing or Machining environment previously providing administration support. We need this person to be highly computer literate with an excellent eye to detail and a can do attitude.  Someone with a keen interest in planning or experience in production planning be advantageous but not essential.
