Based in Newport, Shropshire, the company has an enviable reputation based on high quality wiring harness design and manufacture for low voltage and electric vehicles as well as providing complimentary technologies such as power management systems, switch panels and bespoke electronics systems working to customer specifications.

Due to the continued success of the business both in established and new market places, HCI Systems are looking to recruit a Production Administrator to join the team and further assist the company in its growth plans.

The key functions of the role:

  • Printing work orders as required for the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Arranging / collating Manufacturing Orders (MO’s), update the main HCI Build Schedule, as directed by the Manufacturing Manager.
  • Liaise with Production Team leaders on capacity planning.
  • Liaise with stores department to ensure kits are done in correct time.
  • Ensure kits are being done in the wire processing department.
  • Printing of Standard Operation Procedures to add to Manufacturing Orders.
  • Printing of Drawings for Manufacturing Orders inline with the Production Engineer.
  • Sorting finished Drawings with an update register in line with the Production Engineer
  • Control the archiving of MO’s monthly and dispatch notes weekly.
  • Help work towards developing a paperless workplace with the use of scanning and cloud filing.
  • Use the MRP system in various aspects of the company.
  • Recover MO’s and dispatch notes when requested, then refile once investigation is complete
  • Support other administrative functions in the business as required.

Beneficial experience:

  • Familiarity with MRP systems.
