We are one of the world’s leading motorsport engineering and competition organisations, delivering championship-winning race and rally programmes for global automotive manufacturers. We are seeking a highly organised and hands-on Motorsport Operations Coordinator to support Jaguar Land Rover's growing motorsport programmes on an initial 12 month fixed-term basis, with a primary focus on the Defender programme and occasional support for Jaguar Racing activities.

Working as part of the JLR Motorsport operations team, this role will provide practical day-to-day operational support across vehicle logistics, fleet management, equipment control, event preparation, and team administration. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles, equipment, personnel, and operational assets are prepared and delivered efficiently across testing, events, and programme activities.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced motorsport environment and is comfortable balancing workshop, logistics, and event-based responsibilities. This role requires flexibility and commitment to supporting motorsport activities and may involve occasional weekend working, early morning or evening activities, and travel within the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Tow trailers carrying show vehicles, motorsport equipment, and support assets.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries, collections, and deployment to testing, events, and exhibitions across the UK and internationally.
• Coordinate vehicle preparation, inspections, servicing schedules, and readiness activities.
• Track vehicle utilisation and support fleet administration.
• Manage and maintain motorsport operational inventories, including recovery equipment and support kits.
• Maintain Dakar and expedition equipment, including roof tents and associated assets.
• Manage driver racewear inventories and distribution.
• Coordinate sizing, allocation, maintenance, and event readiness of racewear and personal equipment.
• Assist with operational preparations ahead of tests, launches, demonstrations, and motorsport events.
• Assist with vehicle and equipment setup and breakdown activities.
• Provide occasional operational support to the Jaguar Racing programme.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in motorsport, automotive, logistics, fleet operations, or a similar operational environment.
• Full UK driving licence and experience towing trailers and transporting vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to travel within the UK and internationally and comfortable undertaking international driving assignments as required.
• Strong practical and organisational skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
