We are looking for an experienced  Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on continuous improvement and implementation of robust manufacturing processes, that deliver high quality products all of the time. This is a brand new role for us, this person will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and implementing new processes, working within our Quality Control/Manufacturing department, with 5 direct reports.

Your Role:

  • To drive a safe, balanced man/machine interface and high repeatability in various “critical to quality” processes (machining & inspection).

  • To lead the inspection team to deliver target inspection activities, with clear monitoring and feedback loops.

To own the overall process controls, ensuring the production team clearly understand the process and how they will be measured. Work closely with the production team to ensure that new products are manufacturable and controlled.


Our ideal candidate will have previous experience within a high quality, medium volume manufacturing operations in the automotive or Aerospace sector. They will have a degree within an Engineering discipline or equivalent. They will also have experience in process control methodologies of CNC machining cells & preferably manual assembly.

We also need someone with examples/experience in the preparation and compilation of PPAP submissions and some knowledge/experience in applying TS16949 (QS9000) tools and techniques.
