We are looking for an experienced technical leader to lead our sub assembly department. You will oversee the department which carries out build and maintenance of race car sub-assemblies in the factory, and supervise a team of Technicians to complete work to specified deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall management responsibility of the Sub Assembly Department in the factory.
  • Work to agreed build process and practices.
  • Ensure all lifeing records are maintained and updated throughout the event year.
  • Maintain and oversee all sub assemblies including gearbox, differential, suspension. 
  • Ensure that the assemblies & vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken to prevent any form of damage being caused to them.
  • Ensure all problems are reported through to engineering or the management team as necessary.
  • Work closely with planning team to ensue continuous improvements on assembly process.
  • Manage the teams workload to ensure deadlines are met both on time and to quality expectations.
  • Be prepared to work overtime if requested or as the project requires.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar senior or supervisory role within Motorsport, with exemplary knowledge of gearbox and motorsport sub-assemblies. You will be highly organised and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
