As Group Commercial Director, working collaboratively with the Chairman and Managing Directors, you will deliver results in the following key areas:

  • Coach the commercial leads responsible for the delivery of their respective business’ commercial strategy, providing data-driven business analysis that measures the effectiveness of commercial performance and helps identify areas for improvement and deeper collaboration across the businesses
  • Keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic insight and advice to peers, transforming and evolving our agility, business models, processes and reputation

2.   Partner with the Chairman to develop and implement new commercial strategies, that promote and expand the company’s commercial activity to generate revenues and build sustainable growth

  • Challenge, support and drive consensus across the senior leadership team on strategy that delivers feasible and profitable long-term growth but keeps Prodrive dynamic, agile and able to capitalise on emerging opportunities
  • Incubate, commercialise and then facilitate the delivery of new initiatives and innovations that are meaningful, saleable, challenge limits and change the game
  • Exploit existing organisational capability and help define future organisational capability that fosters an entrepreneurial culture quick to drive new initiatives and revenue streams into market
  • Drive the transition towards sustainability being at the heart of what we do, ensuring a profitable journey to net zero

3.   Brand Manager of the ‘Prodrive’ brand

  • Build and curate the Prodrive brand ensuring it is fit for purpose in the present, and a plan developed to evolve it appropriately towards the vision for its future
  • Exploit the Prodrive brand value where commercial opportunities permit and optimise commercial collaborations sensitively where the customer preference is for our contribution to be less visible
  • Manage Prodrive’s PR and Marketing strategy and team to optimise industry/sector penetration and exploit partnerships for mutual benefit

  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
  • Proven experience in public relations, sales and marketing
