Graduate Roles

Job Type:

At Prodrive we believe there’s no limit to what can be achieved when the brightest minds come together. Joining one focused and driven team, you will challenge boundaries in order to change the game for our customers. Our Advanced Technology business is where we combine our pace and agility with free-thinking to deliver complex engineering solutions and specialist manufacturing programmes to the automotive, aerospace, marine, and defence sectors, accelerating the net zero journey for our customers. Our current portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, including novel suspension systems for military applications, innovative aircraft seating systems, a ‘last mile’ 18 tonne electric delivery truck and the design and delivery of a new hydraulic control system for a hypercar.

The first phase of our application window for our 2023 Advanced Technology Graduate Scheme is now open. We are looking for the next generation of Controls Systems, Electrical and Electronics Graduate Engineers to join our team of expert engineers on a wide range of interesting, complex, and diverse projects. These roles will work alongside other departments in a highly dynamic environment working across the full engineering cycle from concept through to prototype or manufacture.

The role:

  • You will approach problems from a clean sheet using a variety of design and engineering techniques and apply yourself across technical specialists. Most of our work starts at concept feasibility, sometimes with just the initial customer ideas.
  • You will often be involved in discussions with customers and be responsible for tangible design deliverables, which can range from virtual designs and prototypes right through to production.
  • There will be varied daily opportunities and a dynamic working environment which in some cases will see you supporting multiple projects at once.

  • Effective spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate both independently and in a collaborative, team environment.
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

What can we offer you?

A competitive salary is just the beginning. A modern working environment with free onsite parking and a tailored range of benefits including: car and pension salary sacrifice schemes, a subsidised staff restaurant, consultations with our Fit 4 Life expert, exercise classes, life assurance, 25 days holiday (which increases with long service) with an opportunity to purchase up to 15 extra days, paid time off for volunteering, social events throughout the year, and exclusive company discounts.

We are an equal opportunities employer

At Prodrive we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace which values diversity and ensures that everyone has the widest opportunities to maximise their potential. Studies have found that underrepresented groups such as women and ethnic minority groups are less likely to apply for roles if they do not meet all the requirements listed in the job description. If you feel that this role does not perfectly match your experience, we encourage you to apply as you may just be the candidate we are looking for.
