Brandand are an established bespoke merchandise company who is well regarded for delivering great quality apparel and accessories.

We are looking for a clothing/textile technologist with the ability to work with a variety of fabrics, as well as leather, metals and plastics. The Technologists will work on the development of products ensuring that all products are technically developed from design concept through to bulk production and improving production efficiency and quality, while liaising with those involved in the production process.


  • Quality assessing fabrics and yarns
  • Identifying the latest fabric trends, developments and innovations
  • Sourcing fabrics, accessories and new trims
  • Reviewing the dyeing, printing and finishing processes, ensuring quality in areas such as strength, durability, colourfastness, and water and chemical resistance
  • Undertaking quality evaluations of materials and checking the quality of the final product
  • Liaising with designers and assist in adapting designs to suit production methods
  • Coordinating and communicating effectively all technical specifications and testing results to internal and external contacts where necessary.
  • Create and develop with designer’s accurate product specifications/workbooks for coordinators to send to factories.  

Who we are looking for:

  • Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Garment Technologist with a proven track record, we are open to applicants who have recently graduated with a degree in fashion and an experienced user on Adobe Illustrator. You will need to be Self-motivated, a committed team player with a keen eye for detail and a thorough approach. There will be some travel overseas required.
