We have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Motorsport Finance team, ensuring compliance with all Prodrive policies and reporting deadlines, and providing financial support to the month-end process.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the creditors ledger including creditor payments, maintenance of installment plans and schedules, supplier account set up and reconciliations
  • Assist the Assistant Management Accountant by providing timely and accurate updates on creditor spend for the weekly cash flow, highlighting any risks, concerns or variances
  • Review creditors ledger on a weekly basis and assist with month end creditor reconciliations, highlighting any issues to the Finance Manager
  • Review and keep on top of open POs including GRNI report
  • Manage company credit card and expenses process in line with company policy, ensuring prompt turnaround
  • Maintain the fixed asset register including additions and disposals and reconciling assets and depreciation to the general ledger. Administer finance lease transactions
  • Calculation of month end accruals and prepayments
  • Where required assist with bank payment/direct debit postings
  • Assist the wider Finance Team with the year end & audit process
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support to the Finance Manager and Project Accountant as required

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience within a management accounting environment and be competent with using a fully integrated accounting system as well as Microsoft packages including Excel. You will be a self-starter able to work to specific deadlines and deliverables, and have the ability to create financial and nonfinancial reports for operational and executive use.
