We are seeking a Facilities Technician to support our busy in-house maintenance team. You will help ensure the upkeep of our facilities, infrastructure and environment to the highest of standards so that our skilled Technicians and Engineers can deliver without compromise.

Key responsibilities:

  • The role is varied and will include aspects of the following; general handyperson tasks, basic carpentry, gardening, overseeing contractor work, building projects, furniture removal, office moves and other general tasks as required by the business.
  • Provide support to the existing Facilities Technicians, performing agreed planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the business can operate in all areas and ensure legislative compliance.
  • Assist with one-off projects such as office moves, unit refurbishments or installation of new equipment.
  • Respond to helpdesk requests raised by the various business units using our helpdesk IT system.
  • Liaise with external contractors and facilitate their work on site as required, including written correspondence.

Who are we looking for?

You will be a pragmatic technician with a wide range of skills and experience, flexible in nature and highly self-motivated. You will be proficient using basic office IT equipment and comfortable project managing contractors on small and defined jobs.
