At Prodrive we believe there’s no limit to what can be achieved when the brightest minds come together. Joining one focused and driven team, you will challenge boundaries in order to change the game for our customers. We are the world’s leading independent motorsport company and the business behind some of the greatest names and achievements in motorsport over the last 40 years.

We are seeking a Facilities Technician to support our busy in-house maintenance team. Utilising a recognised trade skill (electrics, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, or general building), the role supports all aspects of planned, reactive, and preventive maintenance to ensure the facilities, infrastructure and environment remain operational and compliant to the highest of standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to helpdesk requests raised by the various business units using our helpdesk IT system, diagnosing faults and completing repairs using appropriate trade skills.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules and statutory compliance requirements, supporting the wider Facilities team to maintain smooth operations in all areas.
  • Support installation, refurbishment, and improvement work such as plumbing repairs, lighting adjustments, patch plastering, painting, and general building tasks.
  • Assist with routine compliance checks including fire alarm tests, emergency lighting checks, and water hygiene tasks, ensuring all work adheres to safety procedures.
  • Undertake a variety of general handyperson and facilities tasks, including gardening, furniture moves, office relocations, and small building projects as required by the business.
  • Liaise with external contractors, coordinating access and supporting their work on site where needed.
  • Identify and report potential hazards, defects, or maintenance issues, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment across all areas.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of tools, materials, and consumables to ensure day-to-day maintenance tasks can be completed efficiently.

Who are we looking for?

You will be a pragmatic technician with a wide range of skills and hands-on experience, flexible in nature and highly self-motivated. With a recognised trade background—whether in electrics, plumbing, carpentry, plastering, or general building—you will bring practical expertise supported by previous experience in maintenance or facilities roles. You take pride in delivering work to a high standard and demonstrating strong attention to detail in everything you do. You will be proficient using basic office IT equipment and can manage and coordinate contractors on small, clearly defined projects. You will be able to combine good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.

What can we offer you?

  • An attractive salary which will grow in line with your ongoing development and impact
  • 25 days holiday (which increases with long service) with an opportunity to purchase up to 15 extra days
  • Training opportunities for continuing professional development
  • Onsite subsidised staff restaurant
  • Car and pension salary sacrifice schemes
  • Cyclescheme
  • Exercise classes
  • Paid time off for volunteering
  • Consultations with our Fit 4 Life expert
  • Social events throughout the year
  • Exclusive company discounts
  • Life assurance
