Our Advanced Technology Company work on ground-breaking projects for leading vehicle manufacturers, such as the creation of the first electric hybrid Transit van for Ford or the electrically-powered fuelling systems for the world’s largest commercial jet engines.

We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join us in Banbury to design and deliver solutions to Electronic based engineering projects including preparation of Electronic circuit schematics, PCB layout, component selection and validation testing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of Electronics solutions using relevant CAD systems such as Altium Designer (Schematics, PCB layout, component selection & BOM generation)
  • Design to satisfy performance and legislative requirements (EMC, Environmental & Design Validation)
  • Work in multi-discipline teams to deliver the electronics content of varied projects
  • Technical liaison with customers, suppliers, manufacturing and internal stakeholders to deliver the required solutions

Our ideal candidate:

  • Will have a degree in Electronic Engineering or related subject

  • Can demonstrate a sound theoretical and practical approach to engineering problems

  • Has experience designing Electronics at a component level for Microcontroller, digital, analogue and/or low power DC/DC converter circuits

  • Can construct test plans and validate electronics designs through bench testing, robustness testing & Design Validation Programmes

  • Is proficient with the use of Electronics CAD and has awareness of library management, schematic part creation and footprint creation within a controlled environment

  • Has awareness of mechanical and control systems

  • Has strong written English skills and is expected to author technical and non-technical reports
