We are looking for an experienced Distribution Centre Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of the Distribution Centre and ensure operations are carried out as per business targets and deadliness, and individual and department KPIs. This role has line management responsibility for 9 Operatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff in connection with the day-to-day duties of all areas within the Distribution Centre.
  • Ensure all goods are processed through the DC on time and in full.
  • Ensure and maintain the highest level of customer service both internally and externally.
  • Actively encourage and partake in continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure that all key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are completed, reviewed and actions plans put in place to correct any performance issues.
  • Ensure that all members of the Team are carrying out their duties in line with Departmental procedures and to take corrective action where necessary.
  • Be fully conversant and comply with all Prodrive Perpetual Inventory procedures.
  • Immediately report any stock losses or damage of parts to the Departmental Manager.
  • Produce, monitor and action staff training plans in line with the Departmental improvement plan.
  • Develop, implement and monitor improved layouts of both workflow and parts to improve productivity within the Department.
  • Monitor daily workloads within each area of operation and ensure that department performance levels are met daily.
  • Using forklift trucks will be required, but training will be provided to attain the relevant licence.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background of working in a Distribution Centre at a Supervisor or Team Leader level. You will have previous experience supervising or overseeing a team, and have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.  The ability to communicate across every level of the business, and good organisational, planning and prioritisation skills is essential. You will also have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. with
