We also support a variety of programmes including full works teams in international race and rally series. Our Technicians, Mechanics, Fabricators and Engineers all work together every step of the way with one goal; to win.

We are looking for a Customer Support and Event Manager to join us and manage the engineering support function to Aston Martin and other motorsport customers including all on event activities , to deliver an enhanced customer experience for customers partnering with Prodrive by driving improvements in quality, profitability, delivery and customer satisfaction across Prodrive’s operations.

  • Manage the team of Customer Support Engineers and its processes whilst on event and at the factory including assisting with the alignment of calendars to ensure events are supported with the right capabilities and aligned to the departmental budget
  • Liaison with race governing bodies on issues of Balance of Performance (BOP), legalities and rules which impact the events and series we support
  • Drive prompt analysis and reporting of BOP for the various championships supported ensuring strong collaboration with the wider engineering team
  • Ensure the Engineering Change Request (ECR) process is optimised to drive design changes in a timely and prioritised manner to enhance product performance, ensuring prompt follow-up and feedback
  • Represent Prodrive on events/series where a senior presence is required, e.g. Blancpain and British GT series

Who we are looking for…

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience within Customer Support Managerial role and be educated to degree level within engineering. This person needs to be extremely flexible and have a hands-on approach, as there will still be the requirement to attend events.
