 An accomplished people manager, you will lead our systems, electrical and controls engineering teams, enhancing existing programmes and pioneering technology as we add EV and Hydrogen powertrains to Prodrive’s portfolio of motorsport programmes. You will lead on specifications, budgets and optimal design solutions. It will be your ongoing finessing and refining of those solutions, your unrelenting drive to win and exploit our competitive advantage that makes the real difference and delivers sporting success for our clients.

Your Challenge:

 •  Lead our electrical and systems engineering team

•  Work closely with the Design Office, Engine and Trackside departments to define targets, budgets and objectives for future and current programmes

• Design, develop and define maintenance checks, calibration parameters and stock control of all on board sensors

• Define and oversee the preparation and maintenance of electronic systems across all series and disciplines.

• Provide leadership to the electrical department to ensure reliability and performance across all areas.

• Oversee the administration, development and management of on-board system configs for factory and customer cars

• Assist in pre-event planning of test content in terms of systems development

• Manage the relevant Engineering Change Request for the department, setting priorities and meeting deadlines


 • Experience of full vehicle electrical systems (LV and HV a must), including hybrids and EV’s.

• Experience in a similar role within motorsport

• Educated to degree level or equivalent within Engineering

• Familiar with safe working practices

• Proven track record of efficiently leading and inspiring a collaborative team

• Possess a dynamic approach

• Ability to adapt and able to manage difficult challenges

• Ability to communicate efficiently

• Highly self-motivated with a championship winning ethos
